My daughter got a virus on her computer, and usually I can get rid of them for her when this happens. But this time around something is different and I am not having any luck getting rid of the virus. I am not sure why it is so tenacious, but regardless of what i have tried, it has not gone away. I am looking to find a Google redirect virus removal tutorial, or otherwise some sort of software that will get rid of it for me.
Of course, I have anti-virus software installed on my daughter’s computer – I would be stupid not to- but it is not even finding the virus, much less getting rid of it. My daughter is very frustrated with the fact that the virus is still on her computer, and she seems to think that I am never going to get rid of it. She is kind of dramatic when it comes to this sort of thing, but she is only 6 years old, so I try to cut her some slack. But for example, if she loses something, often times, she will start screaming, “It’s gone forever.”
Which makes no sense at all, and I have no idea why she started thinking such things. Anyway, of course I can get rid of the virus by reformatting the computer, but I definitely do not want to have to do that if I can avoid it. A lot of the files on her computer are not backed up, so it would have to be a last resort if I were to reformat. However, there has to be some way to get rid of it without going to such extreme lengths, I just have to figure out what that solution is, so that I can get rid of it.
